State of Michigan CNA Testing by Headmaster/TMU

Certified Nurse Aide Testing throughout the State of Michigan is managed by Headmaster/TMU. Click their links below to access testing information, resources, practice exams, applications and testing dates. Talent Health Training Program tuition includes the cost for the first state exam. Your first exam will be scheduled after completing clinicals.

Upon successful completion of both the written/oral and clinical exam, CNA applicants must complete the following steps in order to obtain a certificate of registration:

Create a MILogin account at MILogin for Business
Request access to MI-NATES: Michigan Nurse Aide, Training, and Enforcement System, and set up your user profile.

Fees

Effective March 7, 2024, the biennial fees for registration or renewal to practice as a nurse aide will be $40. The fee for the nurse aide competency examination will be $175 per examination (included with your tuition is the registration fee for your first exam).

Know all of the hands-on clinical skills INSIDE and OUT! Any one of them could get selected.
Take practice exams.
In preparation, get plenty of rest and relax. A positive mindset is key!
PLEASE do not no call, no show to your exam. This counts as a failure and you only get THREE before you have to completely retake a class!
